Sahej Rahal was born in Mumbai. He graduated from Rachana Sansad Academy of Fine Art, Mumbai. He has been a recipient of many prestigious international residencies and has exhibited widely.
This artist book was produced for Sahej Rahal's exhibition Juggernaut, 2019, at Chatterjee & Lal.
The exhibition brought together Sahej Rahal’s work across a range of media and was a continuation of Rahal’s world-building: a practice emerging from an interest in collecting and collaging detritus, and other found materials. This series of works drew from mythology, science fiction, illustrated manuscripts, and video games among other sources.
